Arriba Arriba

Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan
Ate: Chips with Salsa, Margarita (size: La Mama), Chimichanga with grilled chicken
Art’s Rating: 3 / 4 jalapeños

I have to admit - sometimes I just want "bad" Mexican food. Nothing special and typical. Arriba Arriba is the place for this. The decor is cheesy, they usually have a live DJ, and the place is always packed. I know - not authentic or quite honestly even that good – but somehow I love this place. Went with friends - one had the taco salad and another had the combination platter with a beef taco and chicken enchilada. I enjoyed it and the margaritas are really good. Only problem is that it's pricey for what it is, but that's typical for NYC.
